28 Weeks Pregnant: Stronger kicks and stretches
Baby development
Your baby at 28 weeks
Your baby is starting to put on weight more quickly now. You may also notice stronger kicks and stretches, partly because your baby is bigger and partly because movement patterns are getting more organized.

What you might be feeling at 28 weeks
Glucose test time. The drink isn't great, but it's quick. You might also get an RhoGAM shot if you're Rh-negative. Your baby is putting on weight, and you might feel stronger, more frequent kicks. Provider visits become more frequent — the countdown is real.
From Shelbi

Twenty-eight weeks brings a few milestones: the glucose test for gestational diabetes, possibly an RhoGAM shot if you're Rh-negative, and the realization that you're in the final stretch. I've had the glucose test seven times, and I'll be honest — that drink is not great. But it's quick, and the odds are very much in your favor. I've sat with doula clients who got a gestational diabetes diagnosis and were devastated, and I want you to know: most GD pregnancies are managed beautifully with diet and result in healthy babies. This is also the week where your provider visits start getting more frequent — the countdown is real now.
